I want to live in Ameriiiiiiica!

Last night we were at a barbecue for Leia's birthday. Jen and Paul were over from America to catch up with Paul's family and had popped over to see everyone at the barbecue. So Marky's dad thought he'd show them how much he knew about America, it went like this:

LARRY: "John, what's that Neil Diamond song about America called?"

JOHN: "Erm, It's just called America"

LARRY: "Are you sure? Well what about that programme about stuff only happening in America then?"

JOHN: "That's just called, it can only happen in America"

LARRY: "Oh, I see. Was there not a film about a guy going to America with Eddie Murphy in it?"

JOHN: "That would be Coming to America, Larry"

Now you can see just how clued up Larry is which then meant he was well qualified to condense the state of American politics into one sentence. I don't think i'll share that one though.

Off for Sunday dinner at my mum's now.
