Mr Green's Beans

A few of the runner beans from last summer that grew in such abundance have escaped eating. They've hung, dried, been packaged ready for despatch in home-made seed envelopes. Its official, MS Word is - well very Microsoft!

They'll hopefully be staring in a new allotment far far away. After what must be a good 30 generations, the beans in these packets are the direct descendants of the green shoots that first hooked me on gardening years ago.

I've no idea which variety they started out as, but like the gardening bug, they are a Green's Heirloom.
