Playing with my camera.
I have been out and about today with my new camera - wanted to have a play. I took quite a few pictures - tried out the zoom and also some distant shots and some panoramic shots.
I realise that I don't really know how to use the camera properly and there are so many options that I could be playing about with - luckily I have a brilliant friend called PJ who is a professional photographer and who is going to show me how to use it - hopefully next week. I think I am also lucky that the camera I bought does make taking pictures so easy.
I had intended on walking along to Ocean Terminal to get a picture of the Antony Gormley statue at the end of the broken pier - but it was perishing out there so that will have to wait for another day. Today - bit of old rope that I rather liked. It moors the Vine Trust boat in Leith harbour.
There are loads of really great blip opportunities around my house so will have to remember if I ever get short of inspiration.
