Anatomy Class

Hidden inside the custard apple with it's reticulated tough skin, is the soft, delicious, sweet, flesh with a sedated, yet appealing taste.

Dark, red brown pips, the size of a water melon's, intersperse the white flesh.

It can be picked green, but once it starts to ripen, it is ready to be eaten within two days.

Once cut open, the flesh remains white, and only after some time, it becomes faintly discoloured.

Even though the skin is tough, it is easily removed or peeled away when the fruit is ripe.
