High Society

The clouds looked like they would make a better picture than this but there turned ut to be no way of eking any more saturation or contrast out of it. But then it was taken at 8:30 this morning so I wasn't on top form when taking it.

Last day of a 3 day week that was much more effort than expected due to lack of practice. Still it'll be easer next week when I will have fully finished the festive season's engagements with tomorrow night's poker (assuming my tickly throat doesn't turn into a full blown cold by then).

Lunch at Dusit was very pleasant, despite the staff being a little terse. It's the second time I've been and it was the same the first time so I was expecting it. Lamb Shank Penang and something that resembled Crispy Chilli Beef but Thai style, preceded by Squid Rings and some sort of Chicken things which were very tasty.

Slow evening, couldn't really be bothered with much as my head was battered from all the IE6 data visualisation work that is very slow going and requires an awful lot of trawling old websites to find out all the things that it does wrong and more importantly the things that it does slowly.
