To think that there is only one personality in someone is ignorant. It's quite unfair to think that using the same mode of thinking across all facets communication would be effective. The person that you are with your parents is completely different to that of the personality you have with your friends, lovers and enemies. Sometimes these personalities clash and cause an internal conflict, however that's the beauty of the dynamic "self". Everyone in some way understands those differences needed for communication.

It would be good to apply this train of thought for other people also. The idiot whom you are talking to is most likely a hero to someone else.
