Fruit of the Sea

The tide was a long way out this morning while we were walking Ozzy on Carbis Bay, exposing all the best mussels on the rocks.

It only took 15 minutes to collect these, but three times that to de-beard them & get the barnacles off when we got home.

And can count for today's Fruit challenge (well sort of)
