Haddington River walk

Beautiful day in Haddington, so took Alfie for a walk round the river. Just as I got there spotted a kingfisher standing in the middle of the river on a island. Went to get the 70-300mm lens out the bag and it was not there - gutted.

Got this shot of the weir which will do instead, need to remember the old scouts motto - "be prepared" - definitely will be next time :-)
