Pancakes!

Alas- as you can see, cookery does not come second nature to me; as I recall, pancakes are supposed to be vaguely circular. Tragically my little sister, whose hands whisk away in this picture, made a perfect specimen moments later!

HOWEVER, any disappointment I may have felt at the stage this photo was taken was swiftly dropped for delight, as my dear mum told me that sweet, delicious and oh-so-sugary maple syrup is GOOD FOR YOU. This news could be a life-changer.
