Lost Boy

We found this handsome boy walking along a dangerous road last night.

We were driving with a load to store in our other house. It was dark and starting to rain. We were squashed in the vehicle with boxes and beds and children, when we spotted a stray dog in the road in an area where there are no houses around only plots.

We stopped and I noticed he was wearing a collar. I opened the car door to check if he had a name tag. Without hesitation he jumped into the car and climbed onto my lap. There was no name tag!

So there I was sitting in the front seat with a medium sized dog on my lap on a trip that takes 45minutes one way. Luckily on the return trip the vehicle was empty and he could sit in the back. He spent the night cuddled up to son No. 1 after meeting the two GSDs who slept outside.

I took him to the local vet this morning hoping he would be able to recognise this handsome boy. The vet thinks they have seen him before because he was found in a similar place and brought in to them before. They scanned him for a chip but found none. If nobody claims him I will be back to fetch him. He has already crept into our hearts!
