Cloud 10

Plenty of cloud today as usual. Clouds are our summer residents. But they parted briefly for our Saturday outing, a trip to the 'urban beach' set up at George's Quay, in the heart of Dublin's burgeoning financial district. Basically, it was a floating platform (or possibly one on permanent stilts) with a large sandpit with a few palm trees and tents (plus recorded sounds of surf which sounded like white noise). Actually, it was pleasant enough, not too crowded, and the wean had a great time demolishing abandoned sandcastles and pretending to run away. There were numerous tents and stalls, including the one in the blip. May post more links anon.
