Lighting up the New Year

The final day of the New Year holiday and amidst the chaos and confusion of packing up and getting ready to move out there's always the relative calm of the service we have - the whole New Year party is based around the church community where I grew up and it's one of the reasons we come together every year.

As part of the service, because there's quite a few young kids (yes, yes, the proper young ones) about we have activities - there was a picture made up of bits of nature (but it was on foil so none of my pics came out well), several pebble wells - and a tray of candles in water for remembrance and prayers which came out the best in the shots so it became today's Blip!
