Where did all those years go?

The house is quiet again with Alix packed off back to university and all of Christmas packed away for another year.

I miss Alix the moment she goes away but she'll be back for a few days at the end of February for London Ambassador training.

It seems like only yesterday that I took this photo on her first day at Prep School and now she's grown up and independent, living her own life at university.

Where did that time go?
