it has been years since i had a decent scab...

but recently i was working at stirling castle and tripped. i scraped my shin down the jaggy edge of a stone stair. it really, really hurt and i thought i had done some serious damage but, to my delight, i ended up with a great big scab.

it has become like a pet, i nurture it and check on it every day. at night i give a wee poke to see if it is ripe yet.

today a bit came off, oh well nothing lasts forever...
