One of the joys of parenting is that it opens a world of new discoveries. Today's discovery was a whole new ecosystem stuffed down the side of the sofa...which explains why I could smell bananas while sitting watching Oscar's Oasis with Noah earlier!

Oh by the way...if you've not discovered Oscar's Oasis it's a rather cool and surreal animated series of very short dialogue-free shorts about a lizard / gecko type creature who lives in a desert and whose day is consumed by the task of trying to steal eggs from a hen house or finding water, while dodging the attentions of three unlikely friends: a vulture, a fox (I think) and a wild boar. They live in an abandoned school bus. No mention is made of what happened to the children on that bus...

Anyway, H discovered it, Noah became a convert and after being dragged in to see it half a dozen times, so am I ;-)
