Birds are back in the air

This balancing garden ornament was a Christmas gift from son 1981 [see Jan 2], new father of "My beautiful first grandchild" [see Jan 5].

It's been so windy that the birds have ended up in the lavender bush on several occasions and I had to bring them inside. This morning was bright, sunny and still so I reinstated them. They never fail to cheer me up.
