Can I come out now?

Caught in this morning's welcome sunshine.
This cheeky starling was eating all the food put out for a Great Spotted Woodpecker - but as he (or she) was so beautiful I didn't really mind.
It always amazes me just how colourful they are - and what great characters! Nice to see them in the garden today.
Bit smelly in the hide today - the farmer had decided to dump huge piles of steaming manure in the adjacent field. Got a few nice shots of tractors and pungent steam but my little starling won today's blip choice.
More peaceful outside today now that the winds have dropped.
