Drumlie
a lot of crows about the water today. Hungry now that the festive bins have been emptied. The day was pretty grimy, overcast...drumlie is a Scot's word for this kind of gloomy weather...
The crows were fishing, picking up shellfish and dropping them to break the shell and allow them to feast upon the protein inside. This one seems to have found his next snack not so easy to get into. The first attempt only dazed it upon the promenade: I think that he had better make sure that he gets high enough to crack the shell this time......
Back at the shining nest the forfeit is set; failure to crack the shell on the second attempt?.....off to the zoo, time to attack a panda.....
