The Generator

Mum's house has been full this week - all daughters have returned home for the holidays. Which means a 60 hour power cut was a bit of an issue!

Fortunately the trusty generator has done well, and allowed us enough power for showers, heat, light and a television. Cooking was still an issue (there's no gas in the middle of nowhere, and the electric hob was just a bit too much!) so lots of yummy takeaways and meals out.

Power has been restored just in time for us all to return to our own homes!
