I bought this fire extinguisher at a yard sale about 20 years ago for $5.00. It was really tarnished like an old penny and had numerous stains. I bought some copper polish and have been cleaning this off and on for close to a week now. It's is now close to what it probably looked like when it was made (est 1935 - 1950). The bottom plaque says "Adopted by Merchants & Business Men's Mutal Fire Insurance Company Towanda, PA".
