Stanley Mills, River Tay

I've been having a busy winter fishing season with many trips to the Upper River Clyde and Stanley Mills on the River Tay. I was back at Stanley today with some of the club members, but we struggled in the big water. This is Matt who hails from South Africa and said before we arrived that he struggles when the temperature drops below 20C! I wonder how he felt at 2C and a whole day wading in the River Tay?

We still managed a few fish topped off by a lovely grayling of 1.5lbs.

Back again next week if the water level drops.
