Rowan Tree

Every cloud definitely has a silver lining. The rain makes the colours in the garden go ZING! I went round the garden with the camera, still in my dressing gown. I must have been a sight - if there had been a single living soul to witness the spectacle.

Several years ago, my neighbour Vic was strimming the grass, and cut into the rowan tree. I thought that it would be a goner, but it has hung on. The only thing is that after it has flowered every year, no berries appear.

Fingers crossed - it looks as though something berry-like is on its way.
