Last Light

A lovely sunny day, perfect for weeding and pruning some of the roses. Each year I resolve to be more aggressive in my hacking, and then I just can't bear taking the plant down to where I know it belongs. But I'm trying. I know it's better for the roses to get a good rejuvenating cut now and then.

The big palm tree is another story, but it's not my tree so I'm not going to worry about it.
