Great White Egret

Today was an amazing day for wildlife. I ventured out and found a new park just a couple miles from here that had the most amazing goose population. I may return there tomorrow.
This afternoon as the sun was down in the west, I spotted the Great White Egret return to the pond. This fellow looked much larger than the last one, and let me approach him quite closely. I got some good in flight shots, and liked this one the best. I've posted some of the other shots on Flickr!
