Day Lily ...

I noticed my Day Lily Plant in my front garden yesterday were starting to come into flower.

It has so many heads on it that I thought it would be nice to have some in the house.

I picked four heads yesterday and put them into a vase, they are starting to come into bloom this morning.

They are a stunning looking flower and the colour is fantastic. I hope they last more than a day (hence the name).

It seems such a shame that they do not flower for longer.
