Wooden Pick

For those of you non guitar players, this meaningless piece of wood is just that. For you other disciples of guitar playing, this is a Timber Tones wooden pick. Plastic plectrums are pretty much universal these days, though the odd afficionado uses tortoiseshell.

For me, this wooden plectrum was a revelation - the tone it produces is wonderfully smooth, warm and rounded. Great on steel strings but particularly good on the nylon strings of a Spanish guitar.
