5/31 - The heart of the matter

"The LORD doesn't see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." 1 Samuel 16:7

We have a lot of Russian dolls; Mum really loves them. I had a Santa Russian doll when I was little, and apparently I used to play with it a lot while I had breakfast, which I don't remember!

I'm not very good at looking beyond appearances sometimes. It's easy to forget that people are a bit like russian dolls as well; there's always more than meets the eye.
