Earliest 10k of the year

Runner 298 (me) in Scotland's earliest 10k. Mark and Miles came too. Bright but blowy for the 2012 event. Tough start, with a continuous climb for first 2km. Having survived that, pushed on well to around 7km, the start of a shorter but tricky little hill. Loose shoe lace near the top needed a stop. Lost momentum, started to feel the blisters and really struggled over the last 2km to finish just over an hour. Pleased to have done it, without training, but disappointed at the slow finish. Back in 2013!
