midwife crisis

last night

Am very slowly getting better, but still house bound - self imposed due to continued green expectoration. Ting!
The non paying guests are finally leaving, apparently partly due to the poor accommodation, general non adherence to health and safety issues, the excessive amount of self service required, lack of hot water & sea views and gin. Oh and the missing kitty - which will I fear always remain a mystery.
Despite their continued moaning and strange custom of setting the fire alarm off each morning, we will miss them, their mobile bar, the lurve and the Kung Fu Panda DVD's.
We will be making future improvements for any unlikely stays> China dogs, swirly carpets, net curtains, an iphone app for every chip shop in Ireland and a babel fish for translation. We will be turning the downstairs loo into a full blown store room with options for buying extra gin, toilet rolls, lilo puncture repair kits, compasses, expensive wine.

30 mins after S,T & R left the next guest arrived for a few days stay. Is there even any clean linen in house? Will a teenage boy be bothered? Am I bothered? Need not have worried, when asked he opted for used!
House of teenagers, so watched their choice of film > 'Step Brothers' Terrible in a very slightly amusing way, it helped being ill and full of Solpadol. Then they introduced us to 'Skins' OMG! They assure us it's all bigged up for TV. Is this true??? Love having them around. New words - same old stuff!

Late night blip of one of our Indian Elephants which we use as Xmas decorations, before it all gets packed away.
