Dominates in the Dark

The car went in for a service today. This gave me an excuse to leave the office early. After collecting the car I went into the city. I originally planned a more festive photograph as we approached 12th night.

It was not cold but we have had rain from time to time during the day so the pavements are still wet. Hence the reflection from the light.

The Town Hall looks magnificent with the floodlighting, but then it looks magnificent anyway. Robert the Bruce dominates the piazza in front of the building, leading the Scots, or in this case maybe Aberdonians, to freedom.

I obtained some new photo editing software today, but have not removed it from the box yet, so this is untouched except for some correction to the perspective.
