Cockermouth main street - from a high angle

Due to the high winds and bad storms last night, we had a power cut from 11pm yesterday through to 3pm today, no internet access! I almost posted some candle photos, but had ideas about high angles and car movements, so I played about with a few movement ideas, then after dark, I clamped my D200 and 10 - 20mm zoom to the roof rails of my Discovery, and with the remote release hanging through the window, drove (pretty slowly) through the centre of Cockermouth.

Sadly, they had taken their Christmas lights down a day early, but I still thought the shot was fun - and certainly got a few stares - especially when I was fixing the camera on the car roof.
