Budding Geologists

Orla and I went to Edinburgh today, for a rather impromptu meeting with two old friends from university and their respective children. We all did postgraduate geology studies together, so it seems rather fitting that our children were so enthralled with the Earth room at the museum! It was I's 4th birthday today. She and Orla got on really well. It was nice to see her making a new friend so easily. They live quite close to Orla's grandparents, so now that we've finally managed to meet up and the girls got on so well, hopefully we can see them a bit more often in future.
