Welcome home

A dreich, wind- and rainswept view of the northwest coast of Lewis, as the service plane from Glasgow makes a diversion north to make a southbound approach into the southwesterly winds. The beach at Eoropie, near the Butt of Lewis, is visible in the far distance as the plane veers round over the village of Borve.
