Flowering Eucalypt

This is a picture of the bark of a flowering eucalypt which stands infront of our house. I used to this it was a paperbark, but that usually has a bark that comes off in sheets (hence the name). The bark of this eucalypt does comes off but in small pieces. I'm not a native nor a botanist but it makes for an interersting photo. Someone out there will know it's name.
On another Australian theme, the cricket team surpassed itself today: Michael (pup) Clarke scored a triple century and Michael (they nearly put me out to pasture) Hussey scored 150 not out. India need a miracle to win this test. My eldest son, a self confessed cricket tragic was at the SCG to see it all. A dream come true for him.
