One law for them, another for us

Here's my blip from yesterday- Strathclyde Police Traffic Division Officers. Some training on motorcycles was taking place outside the District Court in Glasgow recently. You can see the road markings quite clearly in this photo.....unless you happen to be a police motorcycle instructor of course. This is not an uncommon sight in this part of town where the police regularly ignore traffic regulations and road markings to suit their convenience. Parking on double yellow lines whilst picking up their formal dress hire from the local Kilt shop is a particular favourite of our boys (and girls) in blue!

You'd think that a training session would gave covered such basics as not stopping in places where it's dangerous or prohibited as the road markings and signs here clearly indicate, but then it's one law for them and another for everybody else.... At least where Strathclyde police are concerned.
