Sunset In The East

You don't normally associate the eastern sky with the sunset but here in Green Valley we have something special. Sure, the western sky sunsets are often spectacular, but some of the subtle sunsets are often gorgeous over the mountains.

The mountains are infamous around here for their pink hue at sunset. In fact there's a familiar saying amongst the townsfolk..."When the mountains turn pink, it's time to drink!"... signaling the beginning of cocktail hour.

But I digress.

There was just a hint of clouds in the sky over the mountains tonight. Enough so that when the mountains began to lose their pink hue, the sky picked it up from the angle of the setting sun.

Did you ever get the feeling that you should just wait before you post your blip because something special might come along? Sometimes you guess right and sometimes you don't. You don't even have to do anything special. Just throw it up there.

Blipping is a real crap shoot.
