Taken near Kilcunda on the way to collecting Jack from Venus Bay, where he has spent the new year with friends. He gave us a scare during his stay there. On Sunday I received a call to say he was on his way to hospital in an ambulance with severe chest pains. Just as well that I was also staying in the area, so I could make a dash for the hospital. Anyway, after tests to rule out all the serious possibilities, the diagnosis was a pulled chest muscle. Sheer and utter relief!!!!!! I had never realised this could cause such severe pain. Thank goodness he had got out of the water just before it happened.
Armed with pain killers, Jack left hospital to finish his stay with his lovely friends again.
It's times like these that I am so grateful for the health care we have here. We are so very fortunate!
