After the storm...

When the wind had died down a bit this morning, Katherine and I went for a very blustery walk at Cramond, where I took this photo.

We thought she wasn't going to be able to get home to Manchester in the evening as all the trains had been cancelled, but we waited around at Haymarket for a while, and by jove her train actually ran! Not only that, but at about the same time, trains started running to Glasgow, so I was able to go and have dinner with Russell, and even made it back a few hours later. We must have been about the only people in the country not to have all our travel plans thwarted by the weather, although it did look dicey for a while.
