View from a Car Breakdown
Car broke down today, well I say broke down...I suffered a punture!
Had a nail in the back tyre that I probably picked up at Goole depot. Thankfully, it was a slow puncture and didn't make itself fully known until I got off the motorway. Although I could hear a noise while I was on it, and thought it was a fault with my exhaust!
Sat for a half hour waiting for the RAC to rescue me and change the tyre (yes, I'm a girl and I can't do it). The funniest thing was that I didn't really know where I was either ,even though I often do the same run, as I've never paid much attention to the name of the road I'm driving on. I even got the name of the nearest village wrong! Anyhoo, after the RAC man decided it was probably easier to ask where I was travelling from we eventually got there with my location!!
He did a grand job and I was on my way and on time for my next meeting to boot! So, two men to thank today...the RAC Man (who was a very nice man), and the Big Man in the sky who ensured I had safely exited the motorway before the tyre went down!
