Perth Railway Bridge

We've been here before, but this time it's from the other side and not quite such OTT HDR processing.

For the history buffs and railway buffess's:

Perth railway bridge was built in 1863 to replace a wooden structure built 14 years earlier. It was designed by the Caledonian Railway Company to carry the single track of the Perth - Dundee line.

The bridge is supported by iron girders (where it passes over the river) and stone arches (over Moncreiffe Island). The span nearest the west bank of the river was designed to swing open to allow shipping to pass further upriver. Such traffic ended in the late 19th century.
