Rock Star!

Early morning run today, the second in two days. I did take some shots but this one won out. When both Mummy and Daddy had been for a run (obviously not at the same time), we headed out to The Lodge in Sandy. It is the RSPB's headquarters. We had a lovely walk, the kids playing birdspotting BINGO with varying success and had a picnic lunch in the sun on a bench.

We then explored the Lodge's garden before heading back to the car park. We then made the mistake of letting Carys and Daddy go into the hide, but decided that Will would be too noisy. He made his displeasure at this abundantly clear and probably scared off the birds in a two mile radius. It took some bribery and a walk/carry almost back to the car park before he calmed down. Will be going there again in warmer weather I think.

More thank you's in the afternoon. They are never ending, then bed for the kids and Sherlock for the adults.
