no trains , planes and automobiles

this is princess street edinburgh with no traffic
this is how it looked during christmas they werent doing any trams works so they thought they would close the street of to traffic and have things on like raindears , hot food place and also london buses where you can eat pizzas on. etc
it was also easier when the hogmany ( new years eve) street party came they didnt have to deveret the traffic again.

also the brittish home stores shop in this photo is apartly the only store with that name on it the rest only have bhs.

this is also the day after strong winds hit central scotland with winds from 60 up to 102 mph . There was no trains in central scotland and no planes landing in edinburgh airport and with winds to high to mesure at forth bridge it also had to be closed to.
