La Ermita

This is La Ermita in Nerja, or to give its full name, La Ermita de nuestra senora de las angustias. It is a charming little chapel just off Calle San Miguel in Plaza de la Ermita.

The chapel is decorated for the Christmas festive period. This ends with the visit of the three kings, or wise men as we would know them, on the evening of the 5th of January. The "real Christmas" for Spanish kids as they receive their gifts from "los reyes magos" rather than from Santa Claus.
