Ice Cream at Ettrick Bay

So, this is what we do with our children on the West Coast of Scotland...in December...after we have have been battered with storms and adverse weather - we take them to a windy and exposed beach on the Isle of Bute and we give them ice-cream - mint choc chip ice cream to be exact!

It happened to our parents, it happened to us and now we are passing on these rich, familial traditions to our offspring. Just like the 'good auld days' only with better cars and slightly better teeth and rain wear!
