It was a wild stormy day today, high winds but also bright and intermittently dry, so it was back to Long Strand again, with the grandson this time, whose favourite place it is.

He and the dog leaped and scampered among the dunes, and chased the foam which blew off the water (tumblebubbles!), while I wandered about on the sands in the endless quest for the best wave picture.

I like this one because it recalls something of the pound and roar of them, though there were many to choose from, and none of them ever quite good enough!
