Self Portrait 1

Horrible day outside...not going out.

It has rained all day and so thought I would experiment with some self portrait shots. Not down to vanity but to give it a go.

I wanted a slightly out of focus look and used minimal light and a longish exposure to make sure the background was a solid block of black.

To say this is the first time I've tried this I quite like the results...a proper flash and a more suitable lens are needed...watch this space.
