broken

We're having one of those days when everything we touch seems to be broken. Today this includes the car, Margaret, Trisha's tum and the tumble dryer. Luckily we have a good old-fashioned alternative for the last item on that list - an open fire and laundry racks.
We did manage to find a lab where we can get the leaky land water analysed (thanks Teddy) and the car's new brakes are due to arrive tomorrow.
Not a great day, and I just hate the modern cynicism of inbuilt obsolescence.
