Yet another storm

Woke up this morning not to the sound of the girls & boys screaming as i thought i would (both Pesky Princess and #1 Son had friends staying over last night), but to the sound of howling wind outside and wheely bins being blown about along the street.

Then, Pesky Princess and her friends shouted that the trampoline was on the decking. Sure enough, the wind was strong enough to topple the trampoline 24 feet, broke a fence in the process, but left the polytunnel unscathed.

Who says theres no global warming? I cannot recall any other time in my life where 97 mph winds have been recorded and the Forth and Tay road bridges closed three times in under 12 months.

Decided to head down to Broughty Ferry to take some shots as the wind was coming from the West. Missed high tide by several hours, which is a pity as i was looking forward to some shots of waves crashing into the harbour wall. Oh well, probably wont have long to wait until the next storm....
