Okay so, last night I found a really great deal on a Canon 30D body only. I was so excited to had found such an awesome deal that I wasn't able to sleep for quite awhile. When I woke up this morning I went straight to my stepdad and told him that I found a great deal on a camera body and I'd like to purchase it. My step dad has been telling me for quite some time that I should just buy a lens for the Canon 300D that they own. The thing for me is that, I can't take their camera anywhere for obvious reasons such as the price of the camera alone.
So later in the day with $129 to spend I went ebay hunting for a telephoto lens.

Tonight I will go to bed with a Canon EOS EF 100-300mm lens W/ macro, for $170 being shipped to my doorstep tomorrow. I'm so happy to have awesome parents that will not only foot me $40 but will also help me chose a good lens. :D

I'm now that much closer to getting my OWN Canon camera body. <3
