Duvet/Downton Day

I spent most of today wrapped up in the lovely slanket (blanket with sleeves, modelled by moi in the photo) mum gave me for Christmas and I am now fully caught up with Downton Abbey.

I really like the fact the writers made the characters strong faith in God quite an important part of the plot - praying for each other etc. It's challenged me to be more open about speaking about my prayer life. I get to speak to an Almighty Father, Creator of the Universe, any time I wish about anything and I trust that He listens to me, however trivial the prayer, and that He answers them.

Philippians 4:6 comes to mind 'Do not worry about anything; instead pray about everything...'
